We are celebrating our 10th year in the alpaca industry this year! Alpaca This! is located in Maple Valley, Washington at the base of the Casacde Mountain Range. Our suris have seven acres to roam and are spoiled by our constant attention.
Our father/daughter alpaca adventure started off small with just two females and slowly grew from there. We chose early on to be a successful small breeder, not wanting to grow over 20 alpacas. We know every individual alpaca on our farm and can tell immediately if there is just the slightest change in their behavior. Our alpacas are cared for daily which helps to make them quite socialble to guests and very easy to handle.
Being a part of the alpaca community means you must be involved and stay informed. Kelly has been board member of the Suri Network and a member of the AOBA sub committe for the Youth Program. Alpaca This! has also hosted a Fiber Seminar by Kathy Hanecke as well as had former judges Mary Reed and Susan Tellez out to assess the entire herd. Our collective herd is extremely uniform and consistent in regards to fiber type and micron counts. We are focused on breeding high quality suris that follow the Suri Network breed standard as well producing fiber quality desired by fiber mills and processing centers.
Give us a call to schedule a visit or we are happy to send you an information packet on any of our incredible suri alpacas!
Sincerely,
Kelly Jarvis and Tyler Jarvis
